Readers of Workbox June/July and Craft & Design, next issue, will have seen the articles on Christine Witham and working to commission in completing the 4 Black Jackets for collector of film memorabilia David Gainsborough Roberts.

Each of these jackets are a work of art and will eventually become museum pieces, not looking out of Place in an exhibition at the V&A in London. Christine's workshops at Jersey Textile Showcase are always well attended but up until now have been jewellery based, we are delighted that this year she will be running one on portraiture, letting us in to a few of the secrets of her design and techniques of the portraits on the back of David's 4 Black Jackets.
