I have spent over forty years' involvement with a material that is so versatile that it never ceases to amaze. It comes from the earth's surface and once fired it can never be destroyed completely.

For "Patterns in Nature" I am exhibiting smoked vessels decorated with terra sigillata slip or glazes and/or wrapped with fabrics, wire, plants, sea-weed etc to create colours and images of clouds, vapour trails, sunsets and seascapes.

Stoneware/ovenproof ceramics maiolica-decorated by air-brushing and masking to create swirling blends of colour in patterns suggested by the natural world.
