I have been involved in art since I was at school. It has taken several forms:-
Cartooning: Some of this being accepted by Fleet Street.
Painting: Oils, acrylic and water - I have exhibited and Sold steadily over the years.
Sculpting: Cold Cast Metal Resins.
Woodcarving: I enjoyed this and entered "The International Wood Working" exhibition held in London in 1994 where I was awarded the runner-up certificate.

A natural progression from all of the above, for me anyway, was my current craft "Automata" sometimes called "Moving Sculptures".

Now that I'm retired it seems to have taken over most of my day. It is so absorbing and as in cartooning, one's mind is geared to think how you can animate anything that attracts your eye, maybe an event or a scrap of news.
