Di Richardson studied for her degree in Fashion at Manchester College of Art and Design in the 1960s. Further study led to a teacher's diploma at the Elizabeth Gaskell College, also in Manchester. She moved to Jersey in 1973 and has taught Art and Design in many of Jersey's schools with many talented students now involved in textile design Worldwide. Retirement has enabled Di to focus more on her own work...although she still teaches A level Textiles at The Harbour Gallery which is now an Edexcel Examination Centre.
