Fibrefusion are all members of Pauline Verrinder's Advanced Stitched Textile Workshop Group who meet fortnightly at Brickworks, Manor Community College, Cambridge.

The aim of the workshop is to encourage each member to develop and extend their existing skills, in a sharing, creative and inspirational atmosphere.

As a shared project we have just written our first book called "Beyond Boundaries". We have drawn on the skills and contacts within the group, and have together combined our individual expertise to pursue an idea that was initially just a "fun idea".

The electric and inspirational spirit of the group, invited the challenge, and after eighteen months of working on the book, it was published in the Spring of 2002. Working on the book had been a real learning curve with everyone gaining many new skills from the experience.

The interest and demand for the book has been very rewarding, so much so that we have had a re-print. The success of "Beyond Boundaries" has encouraged us to produce a second book, "Encrustation", which was published in June 2003.
