Helen Jordan is dispelling the urban myths of crochet being nothing more than old-fashioned doyleys, dressing table sets, antimacassars or heavy, chunky granny squares in questionable colour ways.

Helen produces one-off mixed media items, interesting cloaks and other small items. A commission service is available for customers requiring bespoke creations.

Helen’s first book, a stitch dictionary entitled ‘Textured Crochet’, was published in September 2007. Helen is a long-standing member of the Knitting & Crochet Guild. She is also a student of the world-renowned International Diploma in Crochet.
