Louise Watson lives in a small village in the Cotswolds and takes her inspiration from the landscape around her. She produces a wide variety of work: framed pictures, purses, bags, hangings and cushions.

Her theme this year has been fabric manipulation with intense machine stitching on felt. The inspiration has been from beach pebbles, flotsam and jetsam. To contrast and compliment this machine embroidery she has continued to work on small hand-stitched pictures.

Louise Watson gives workshops and talks for the Embroiderer's Guild and other interested groups throughout the country. Her workshop titles include: Amulet Purses, Bags of Colour and Keeping an Embroiderer's Sketchbook.
