Maxine has always been interested in Art and Design and completed her foundation year at West Surrey College of Art and Design. She studied for a BA in Interior Architecture at, what was then, Trent Polytechnic. After a break from studying she returned to Leeds Metropolitan University to gain a B.Ed. in Design Technology. Since then she has been teaching in the UK and Jersey, but still finds time to continue her interest in all things creative. This is sometimes difficult to do with a young family, but much more fun than going to the gym!
