The idea of intergrating old artifacts into contemporary pieces stirs Sandie's imagination. The natural wear, tear, breakdown and faded grandeur of all materials have an inherent beauty.
A variety of techniques are used. Collage, weaving, wrapping and the use of wire thread create new fabrics and textures.
