Eighteen years ago I attended a stained glass course with master artist Paul San Casciani, which proved inspirational.

For ten years I worked in traditional stained glass but have since explored other glass techniques such as:-

SLUMPING - This is the melting of glass in a kiln using moulds, creating free standing sculptural forms.

LAMINATING - The joining of pieces of glass to give interesting finished pieces of glass art.

In a similar way as a painter, I use pieces of glass as a painter uses paint, with colour being the primary consideration.
