Wendy Hughes uses a combination of organza fabrics and nylon filament to create her textile structures, the filament giving strength and form to the soft fragility of the fabric.

She exploits the possibilities of manipulating materials making coiling, spiralling forms which she develops into hats, wearable accessories and installation pieces.
