An exhibition of paintings by Nicole Smith and Andrew Thompson.
To be officially opened by Professor Ed Sallis, Principal of Highlands College, at 7PM on 11 June.
Nicole Smith and Andrew Thompson are two local artists who, despite their widely differing approach to art, have worked together to produce this exhibition which they have named ‘Reflections’.
The catalyst for this exhibition was a recent collaborative painting entitled ‘Indie’. The combination of their two distinctive styles in this one painting proved to be an exciting experiment and was the seed for ‘Reflections’.
Nicole Smith’s work explores the power of images – where she enters into an emotional journey of spiritual reflection.
Andrew Thompson’s paintings explore the reflective qualities of the coastline in his quest to capture light and movement.
