CHERRY HINTON
WH Mills has known this for two or 3 years at this locality, before the turf was moved– verb. comm. to me at the Ray Club meeting at Sir Lionel Whitby's, 2.6.1951. DE Coombe Card index.
A great many plants of it in a hedge on the opposite side of the road to the reservoir at Cherry Hinton, – the spot indicated by the upper loop of the '8' of 148 spot height on Limekiln Road: 482.556. mainly on the N side of the hedge, where much of the turf has been recently moved, but a plant or two on the undisturbed S side of the hedge. A new county record? Shown to H Gilbert Carter, the Ravens & was found in company with CD Pigott. 20.4.1949–young leaves only, with the non–decurrent leaflets. DE Coombe Card index.
